D.O.C (DOOMSCROLL OBSTRUCTION CONTRAPTION)

A playful intervention, D.O.C. is a biofeedback- based, electro-mechanical work designed to combat Doomscrolling  (that is, anxiously reading through posts on social media about the news or the current state of things while forgetting about everything else around us). If you become anxious, it physically shuts off your monitor.

Materials: 

Electrical tape, pulse sensor, servo motor, micro:bit, wires, alligator clips, wooden skewer, support (estradiol vial), computer monitor, cardboard.
