AMBIENT COMPANION

Made “in search of comfort and relaxation during the pandemic, Ambient Companion consists of a physical object, a cloud “pillow,” containing a micro:bit connected to a p5.js project via bluetooth. The p5.js window reflects the cloud pillow virtually within four different ambient environments which can be selected by pressing the cloud pillow. In each environment, moving the cloud pillow will move the virtual cloud which interacts with its environment. This project is also my way of remembering the days where I couldn't sleep without listening to ambient sounds.”
