ARCANUM ARMAGEDDON

A mix between a wave defense game and a platformer, Arcanum Armageddon requires the player to defend an artifact from increasingly difficult waves of monsters, with a boss monster every 5th round. Upon defeating the 3rd boss, on round 15, the player wins. Losing the artifact or dying ends the game. The player remains in a single 2D side-scrolling map. Defeating monsters earns money and experience. Money is used to buy relics, offering the player unique buffs, and to buy and place buildings around the map for defense. Experience allows the player to level up, learn or upgrade new skills, and gain strength.
